Henry's
Cobra Wiring
Henry's
Cobra is impecable in every detail. Planned for this vehicle
is heat/ac with fans sewn into the seats to move the heat
and ac. The ignition is handled with a Passive Keyless Entry
System and Push Button start from Digital
Guard Dawg, and remote start via smart phone from FirstTech.
Electric brakes, GPS and much more! Keep checking back to
see this project develop.
Hint:
Photo sections with a lime green
border have images that will switch.

Henry's
Cobra is going to be one sweet (and very fast!) vehicle. No
expense is spared on this fine machine!

LEFT
- We decided to install the wiring in the trunk. First a
box was built to mount all of the components and the speakers
installed. Place you mouse over the trunk and see what it
looks like now!
RIGHT
- The Digital Guard Passive Keyless entry and Push Button
Start Modules were first mounted on a stainless steel panel.
All of the in-line fuses ( I hate them! ) were removed and
a fuse panel was installed. Place your mouse over the panel
to see it mounted in the driver kick panel.

LEFT
- The running light / turn signals have the copper connector
shown that you would use to push a connector into. I prefer
to solder a connector and wire to a plug to help rule out
corrosion. Use you mouse again to see the new ground connection.
RIGHT
- I had to fabricate tabs to allow the mounting of door switches
used to turn on the interior lights.

|
LEFT
- A stainless steel bracket was fabricated to mount the
wiper and headlight switch under the dash. The switches
are easily accessed, but will not get in the way.
RIGHT
- A stainless steel bracket was fabricated to hold the brake
light switch.

|
LEFT
- Solenoids were added to the doors so they can opened remotely.
As with previous pics, place your mouse on the door to see
it with the solenoid installed.
RIGHT
- We needed to add a trunk light so we made a frame that
will allow a panel to enclose the trunk area and also house
the light.

| Since
we don't have a lot or real estate on this Cobra, we had to
mount the MSD Digital box and coil on the passanger side under
the dash. |
